Albert Einstein famously said, ‘The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination’.
Im heading to Buffalo, New York this month on a scholarship to attend the ‘Creative Problem Solving Institute’ at the Creative Education Foundation. The Foundation is recognised as the world leader in Applied Imagination. I will join creative thinkers, innovators, changemakers, educators and business leaders from around the world to learn cutting edge techniques in creative problem solving.
I am super excited about being offered this opportunity. Now, more than ever, there is an urgency for individuals and organisations to connect with creativity as a catalyst for change. We live in a world where ideas are currency so it’s no surprise that the worlds big ideas are coming from the imaginations of highly creative people who solve complex and important problems with creative thinking. Collaborative creativity and the exchange of new ideas is replacing the the old industrial ways of doing business and solving global problems.
Creativity can transform lives, communities and business, it’s deeply fulfilling, joyful and profitable, it connects people with an experience…that is what I am most excited about”.
So follow me on Facebook and Instagram as I share the experience of being at the conference.
